Online Mode (requires active internet account and PS2 Network Adapter, sold separately) features a robust system for you to race with up to six other players and interact with others in your own unique automotive community. In offline gameplay, race in an enhanced arcade and simulation mode and access more than 500 automobiles from around the world. Courses include closed racing circuits to specially designed city courses, for a total count of up to 100 tracks. Arcade Mode allows you to compete against other players or the artificial intelligence on select courses, and Simulation Mode lets you start from the bottom and work your way up the ladder. Game allows you to play from both first- and third-person perspectives.
